Mercedes-Benz B-Class – Providing for the Future

The B-Class is definitely one of Mercedes-Benz’s success stories. After all, for a vehicle to sell so prominently in each and every marketplace over the world, it certainly takes some doing. And so new and used Mercedes-Benz car fanatics will be delighted to hear that the 2011 model (which will also be sold in the US for the first time), is expected to provide many visual and non-visual improvements that will make things even more exciting for drivers. Reports suggest that these improvements will be made across a wide range of different versions of the car that will also come into practice. Therefore, this will mean that consumers will be given a wide choice of variants to choose from, which is always a bonus when buying a new car. Images that have recently surfaced online show the new B-Class to be quite similar in shape to the current version although it does seem to be a little more boxy and stiff. However, some may regard this as being a good thing; although it may not be favoured by all. Of course the release of any new version of a successful vehicle, especially one as prominent as the Mercedes-Benz B-Class, will split opinion at some point; and so I suppose we will all just have to wait and see it in the flesh before passing our own judgement. As for the cars’ interior the B-Class has made some rearrangements in terms of the dashboard features with the main navigation system now being situated in a more prominent position.

Maserati GranTurismo Convertible – Coming in 2011

Yes its true – 2011 will be the time when Maserati releases the new convertible version of the universally popular GranTurismo model. Looking typically slick and tasty, it appears as though this could well become a firm fans’ favourite and set new benchmarks in sports car design. Charisma is something that all new and used Maserati cars have never been short of and so it comes as no surprise to see that the GranTurismo convertible literally oozes with both charisma and class. This vehicle also marks the third and final instalment of the Maserati Quattroporte platform, which has been ongoing since the year 2003. So what does it have to offer? Well Maserati say that the 2011 model will offer increased head and leg room and a driving experience that will certainly offer an all round improved performance. Of course being a convertible, the drive becomes different when the top is down and so early reports suggest that there may well be one or two issues in this area. Overall though this looks to be a really interesting vehicle that will fit in nicely with the rest of the Maserati vehicles currently being offered in the marketplace. Of course it will mean that the GranTurismo convertible will have to compete with various other supercars but at the same time, it is all healthy competition. And let’s face it; Maserati are right up there with the best of them so it will also be welcomed competition as well.

Lotus – Fans in for a Treat

As the title suggests, fans of the Lotus brand will soon be in for a real treat after the company released news that they will soon be adding at least four new models to their range of cars. Apparently there will be two new hybrid models, a new version of the Seven model and the highly anticipated successor of the Esprit. All vehicles are expected to be released soon at the glamorous Paris Motor Show and if initial reaction is anything to go by, success may well be on the cards for the sports car company. If reports are accurate the two hybrid models will be front engine units with one being a three dour coupe and the other being a four door coupe. Both cars will adapt the engine Omnivore assistance that was created by Lotus to assist certain electric systems. The new Seven model is the successor to the old used Lotus Seven and will now more comfort to all occupants. Enthusiasts are seemingly excited about the introduction of this unit and it could well steal the show upon its release along with the other models. And finally there is the Esprit, which is very much a long awaited arrival. The car will be based on the V8 and V10 Lexus engines and it will continue to use lightweight materials such as carbon fibre, which has now become famous for new and used Lotus cars.

The GranTurismo Model from Maserati

Available in six different variants that include the standard version, S, MC, S Automatic, MC Sport Line and the GranCabrio, the Maserati GranTurismo is a 2+2 Coupe vehicle, which provides the ultimate driving experience. Using the platform of the Quattroporte V model, this is one model that defines what a dream sports car would look like. But not only that, the GranTurismo is also a vehicle that could be used as a benchmark for the ultimate performance on the road and with 0 to 60 mph rates of 4.9 seconds (S variant) and a top speed of up to 183 miles per hour; it comes as no surprise to see that this is one Maserati car, which is very much in huge demand. The GranCabrio variant is the most recent addition to the GranTurismo range and will be released later this year (2010). It is effectively a convertible version of the GranTurismo S. Now this is only the name given to the vehicle in the UK, but across the pond in the US, it is officially recognised as being the Maserati GranTurismo Convertible and so when it does eventually go on sale; this is what it will be promoted as. Both the used Maserati cars of old and the more refined newer versions of today are very different but also very much the same. Of course the natural evolution of the industry has seen much advancement in technology and the Maserati GranTurismo is no different; it has been kitted out to impress and it certainly achieves just that plus much more.

Acceleration, Speed and Handling Equals a Lotus Car

Transferring the pleasures and thrills of racing cars to road cars is no easy feat for any manufacturer; something just seems to get lost along the way. There are only a small number of automakers that have the ability to succeed in this area and Lotus Cars is definitely one of them. If you look at the range of cars in both the new and used Lotus markets, models such as the Elise, Evora and the 2-Eleven immediately stand out as being the best of the bunch and, quite rightly, are regarded as racing cars come road cars (this is especially the case with the 2-Eleven model). What separates Lotus cars from the rest of the industry is their ability to, not only transfer the racetrack experience to the road, but their ability to combine acceleration with top end speed and handling. In fact it is the latter feature, handling, which used Lotus cars have become famous for. The ability to control a vehicle is very much at the top of the priority list for buyers / customers. By having a car that is easy to navigate it gives off a real sense of security for the driver. And therefore, Lotus car owners have the pleasure of being able to travel with this comfort as handling is very much at the top of the agenda for Lotus engineers. By purchasing a new or used Lotus Elise, Evora or 2-Eleven, buyers are given the opportunity to own a road car that would not look out of place on the formula 1 circuit.

Land Rover Range Rover Sport – An Item of Sheer Luxury

Who would have thought that Land Rover cars were originally created and manufactured for military use? Looking at the LR cars of today such as the Range Rover Sport model, it is clearly evident that this is a brand, which has come a long way over the years. Using the Range Rover Sport as an example, it quite simply defies luxury in a 4×4. For so long and so often, these types of vehicles have been looked upon as being resilient and tough, but never stylish. Well it is certainly a sign of the times that this opinion has changed somewhat, because nowadays, vehicles like the new and used Land Rover Range Rover Sport are seen as a fashion icon – and not just an ordinary 4×4. The sheer quality that has gone into the engineering of the vehicle is truly magnificent and during the period of between 2006 and 2009, the Land Rover Range Rover Sport was seen as THE vehicle in the industry and was very much one of the most sought after cars available. Of course, given the price of the unit, which is rather expensive, the unfortunate reality is that this unit is only within reach of a select number of buyers. It is very much situated at the top end of the market and so is only accessible to top end car buyers. However, the Land Rover Range Rover Sport is a vehicle of luxury and luxury does come at a price; in this case it is a very expensive price! So if you have a spare 50k plus and want to purchase a Range Rover Sport with all the trimmings – you will not be disappointed with what it offers.

Jeep Cars – Built to Last

There can be no element of doubt that the vehicles produced from Jeep have been designed, built and constructed in a way so that they last for a long period of time. This is one rugged off road auto manufacturer that has provided the industry with so many useful and unforgettable models, which will surely go down in the history books as being among the greats. The name of Jeep is a brand that is definitely recognised as being a leader in the off road sector. All new and used Jeep vehicles are rugged, robust and tough, which makes them the perfect candidates for off road travel. The thing about the Jeeps of today compared to the original used Jeep models is that there has been significant improvements in style that has meant the Jeep cars can now fit in with other city / suburb cars; when during the past, they would have looked very much out of place. Nowadays though, the sight of a Jeep on the road is more of a common occurrence that something that is out of the ordinary. And the reason for this is that consumers have switched onto the fact that Jeep’s are indeed stylish enough to be considered as a possible choice. So therein lies why the brand of Jeep is currently more popular than it ever has been; not only because their vehicles are of superior build and their off road capabilities, but now it is also because of their style and design. So the chances are that you will see the used Jeep cars of old ever present on the dirt track, and the newer Jeep models, taking their place on the road.

Bringing Fun to Driving – The Vauxhall Corsa

One of the most popular small hatchback cars to ever hit the UK, the new and used Vauxhall Corsa really does deserve some enormous amounts of credit. Driving this vehicle will definitely bring a lot of fun to your life and let’s face it – that is very much a rarity with most cars these days. But the Corsa is different – it offers so much from a car that is so small. Attention to detail has clearly been on the agenda of Vauxhall’s designers and the Corsa has benefited from this greatly. Available in both petrol and diesel engines, three or five doors and a wide range of different exterior colours, the Corsa is a car with character and emotion. Read the rest of this post »

A Smart Roadster – Something Even More Different

As if the introduction of Smart cars into the market was not enough of a shock, the Smart Roadster has provided something even more interesting and delightful. A two door sports car, the Roadster is every bit of a Smart car as it is a sports vehicle. Combining the two elements would seem to be an almost impossible task, but the engineers over at Smart / Mercedes-Benz somehow managed to come up with a concept that worked; and this is certainly the case. Looking at the vehicle from the outside, you could be forgiven for not quite understanding how such a visually stunning car could actually be from the same family as the used Smart ForTwo for example. Prices of Ferrari

If you were one of those who used Ferrari to know how expensive it is to maintain a car. Not only is the purchase expense. When we buy a car, usually take the credit. It’s inevitable, because buying a car itself is fairly One major expense, and not everyone afford him. Those who used Ferrari know that this can then pay off the loan by many years, which is often extremely onerous. In addition, you must reckon with the fact that if we buy a car already, we have a lot invested in him. People pay not only for compulsory insurance, but also a lot more, wanting to ensure the maximum safety. If you used Ferrari only for local driving or shopping, to shop, to my aunt at the other end of town, then usually abandoning the car. It’s just not worth it. Additionally, after you buy new tires, every summer, every winter, invest in repairs and improvements, not to mention petrol. Everyone who used Ferrari over longer distances or for commercial purposes, for example, are very happy to have their own vehicle.
